SUBJECT:  Career and Technical Education Application for New Programs and/or Courses

Attached is the form for requesting approval for new Career and Technical Education programs and/or courses. When completing this form, refer to the Administrative Planning Guide at http://www.cteresource.org/apg/ to use correct titles and course codes, as well as other pertinent information.

Applications are due prior to implementation of the program and/or course in your school program of study. These forms may be submitted at any time of the year, but must be approved prior to including any budget items in your Perkins Career and Technical Education Local Plan and Budget Application.

This form is submitted to the Office of Career and Technical Education Services and may be faxed to 804-530-4560.  If you have questions or need additional information, please contact George Willcox, coordinator, or Glenn Anderson, specialist for CTE planning, administration and accountability, at CTE@doe.virginia.gov or at (804) 786-4206.
