From Vision to |
The Department of Education is pleased to
announce the third annual From Vision to
Registration - The Office of Continuing
and Professional Education at Virginia Tech will manage online
registration. School divisions should
designate one individual to register all divisionwide
participants. A maximum of four participants from each division may be
enrolled. The deadline for registration is June
1, 2007. If indicated on the
registration form that additional staff are interested in attending the
academy, the designee will be informed if space is available after June 5, 2007. Participants may register online for the
academy at http://www.cpe.vt.edu/reg/vtop/. Attachment A contains the agenda for each day
of the academy. Pre-registration is required for the all-day sessions on July
11, 2007.
Lodging - The cutoff date
for room reservations is June 22, 2007. A block of rooms has been reserved from July
9-11, 2007, at three hotels at the state rate of $81 per night (excluding taxes

Authorized Expenses

Lodging, parking, and travel costs are the responsibility of attendees;
however, these expenses are authorized activities and may be charged to local
Title I; Title II, Part A; Title III; and Title V, Part A, budgets. Materials,
a continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks will be provided. Participants are
asked to be present for all meal functions.

participants need to cancel their reservations, please contact the hotel
directly, as well as Dawn Bradbury, the Virginia Tech registrar, no later than
