Additional Electronic
Practice Assessment Tools (ePat) for Sixth- and Seventh-Grade Mathematics |
The
Virginia Department of Education is pleased to announce the addition of sixth-
and seventh-grade Electronic Practice Assessment Tools (ePat) to the resources available
to middle school teachers of mathematics.
The
sixth- and seventh-grade ePAT provide students with
online access to the released 2006 Standards
of Learning tests for mathematics in grades six and seven. Students are able to practice on the released
tests and view annotations explaining the correct answers and the incorrect distractors. To
locate the ePAT site go to http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Instruction/Math/
and scroll down to Virginia Electronic Practice Assessment Tool.
For
additional information, please contact Dr. Lois Williams, mathematics
specialist, Office of Middle and High School Instruction, by e-mail at Lois.Williams@doe.virginia.gov,
or by telephone at (804) 786-8078.
