The Department of Education is pleased to provide you with the enclosed copy of the Regulations Establishing Standards for Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia (Accreditation Standards). The Board of Education approved the Accreditation Standards at the July 28, 2000, Board meeting and the standards became effective September 28, 2000.
