of Learning and identify the content (topics and skills) embedded within
the standards.
-
To provide participants with a process
for aligning local curriculum with the revised health and physical education
Standards of Learning.
-
To provide staff development to facilitate
the implementation of the proposed draft Curriculum Guide for Driver
Education in Virginia.
-
To increase participants’ awareness of
the opportunities for regional networking and partnerships that promote
student achievement of the revised standards.
-
To increase participants’ awareness of
community instructional support and resources that enhance the implementation
of the revised health, physical, and driver education Standards of Learning.
