| SUBJECT: | General Adult Education (GAE) Applications for 2001-2002 |
Chapter 1073 (2000 Acts of Assembly) provides funding for the partial reimbursement of expenditures made by school divisions for local General Adult Education programs for fiscal year 2001-2002.
Eligible classes for reimbursement for fiscal year 2001-2002 include adult high school classes for credit, General Educational Development (GED) preparatory, Americanization, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. Reimbursement will be based on 60 percent of the total cost of the program.
Copies of the forms necessary to complete your program application and a copy of "Instructions for Preparing Program Application and Request for Reimbursement for General Adult Education Programs" are attached.
If no program is planned, please write "NO PROGRAM PLANNED" on the face of the application and include your division name and code.
The application and the outline of the proposed
program are to be returned to:
