The Virginia Board of Education is providing an additional 30-day public comment period regarding 8 VAC 20–160–10 and 8 VAC 20–160-20 in Regulations Governing the Secondary School Transcript. The proposed regulations were first published in the Virginia Register on August 28, 2000, and a 60-day public comment period was provided. Some concerns were expressed relative to the Proposed Regulations Governing the Secondary School Transcript. As a result, the proposed regulations were amended and presented to the Board of Education on March 22, 2001, for authorization to be reissued for an additional 30-day public comment period. The revised regulations are attached.
