Final allocations for Title IV: Safe and Drug-Free
Schools and
Communities Act (SDFSCA) Program have been
confirmed by the U.S.
Department of Education as follows:
Governor’s Share (20 percent) $1,634,981
Virginia Department of Education (80 percent)
$6,539,924
Total Virginia Allotment $8,174,905
Of the amount allocated to the Department of
Education,
funds will be distributed as follows:
Programs and Administration (VADOE) $ 588,593
School Divisions (70% Entitlement) $4,165,932
School Divisions (30% - Greatest Need) $1,785,399
Total to the Virginia Department of Education
$6,539,924
